The midcentury and the new millennium both start with a falling man:  rocketing towards death, surrounded by advertising, this is television for the end of history. Inspired by Don Draper’s disastrous, self-obliterating pitch for Hilton’s Royal Hawaiin Hotel, with supplemental text from Herbert Marcuse’s 1964 work of neofreudian philosophy, One-Dimensional Man. An ode to the ills of commodity culture and the void within, this is the first entry from new Night Gallerist Eroscestlavie–but not the last.
